The history of TeleBilling A/S2009: Also in 2009 TeleBilling enjoyed a positive development – as evidenced by the revenue of DKK 62.6 million and the positive results of DKK 5.9 million before tax. However, the results are negatively affected by a Swedish operator that has gone into liquidation implying that results have been reduced by approx. DKK 2 million.
2009 was characterized to be a year with minor sales of new licenses but in return with more rendered change requests and upgrades by existing customers. In 2009 TeleBilling acquired three new customers. In addition hereto TeleBilling made four major upgrades by existing customers and rendered change request services to existing customers.
In December 2009, the Company's French distributor completed a large contract in North Africa which is not to be delivered until during 2010. Therefore, the order has not contributed to the financial statements for 2009.
At the end of 2009, the number of employees amounted to 54 against 43 at the end of 2008. Moreover, an average of approx. eight external consultants have been employeed during the year.
TeleBilling A/S expects 2010 to be a year with new customers, increased sales of licenses concurrently with rendered advisory services to existing customers. Therefore, growth is expected in revenue as well as in profit.2008: TeleBilling enjoyed a very positive development in 2008 with a revenue growth of 67% compared to 2007.
2008 was characterized by a very high growth in the Nordic region as well as in Central Europe in which TeleBilling last year commenced the supply of the largest contract so far in the history of the Company. TeleBilling acquired four new customers in 2008. In addition, the Company was again engaged in a number of major upgrading projects and rendered change request services to existing customers. Moreover TeleBilling is recording a growth in its Facility Management Services.
In 2008, the Company's French distributor entered into its first contract regarding delivery of TeleBilling’s product naviBilling to a major French service provider within mobile telephony.
At the end of the financial year, the Group had a number of 43 employees against 36 at the end of 2007. And the recruitment process will continue for the start of 2009.2007: TeleBilling enjoyed a very positive development in 2007 even though the European telecommunications market was expected to only enjoy a minor increase.
In 2007 TeleBilling experienced a high growth in the Nordic region in which TeleBilling entered into a large and long-term agreement with one of the largest telecom operators in Scandinavia.
In addition to the large Nordic operator, TeleBilling acquired another new customer in 2007, a national operator in Europe with whom TeleBilling has entered its best agreement yet. The project will be implemented during 2008.
In 2007, TeleBilling was again engaged in a number of major upgrading projects by existing customers. Moreover TeleBilling is recording a growth in its Facility Management Services.
Further to this TeleBilling expanded its sales channels as a distribution agreement was entered with a French enterprise. The French partner is entitled to distribute and install TeleBilling’s naviBilling product in the French-speaking countries in Europe and Africa.
Due to the very positive development TeleBilling has during 2007 been through an intensive recruitment process. 8 new employees have entered the team so today a total of 26 persons are employed with software development, product development and support of the naviBilling solution. In addition hereto TeleBilling has signed a co-operation agreement with Celenia regarding staff resources. Celenia will provide TeleBilling with a number of full-time developing resources. All resources are working in Ukraine.
By the end of 2007 TeleBilling was employing 36 persons.2006: TeleBilling celebrates 10 years anniversary.
TeleBilling enters Strategic Alliance with Enterest for mediation platform in End-To-End CRM, Billing and CDR-Processing. With strategic alliance both companies are able to offer an Off-The-Shelf CRM, billing and CDR-Processing solution with strong tools for business intelligence and fraud investigation.
TeleBilling signs contract with Network Norway - a Norwegian Mobile Operator - where we are in progress with the implementation of the naviBilling 4 software.
wilhelm.tel upgrades to naviBilling 4. The upgrade was successfully implemented and the flexibility gained by naviBilling 4 and the extra performance gained with the new MS SQL-2005 database hav now proven to be a success.
Sydfyns Elforsyning joins the TeleBilling service provider concept for the handling of its billing services.
naviBilling 4 has been updated with new mediation, PFC and supports MS SQL-2005.
As of 31/12-2006 TeleBilling employs a total of 34 persons.2005: 2005 turned out to be satisfactory for TeleBilling with a positive result of DKK 2.8 million.
The year was characterized by consultancy assignments at existing customers and only to a small extent license delivery to new customers. In 2005, TeleBilling entered one new contract with a fixed net operator in Germany.
Especially Germany, TeleBilling’s most important market, was affected by the heavy consolidation in the IT and telco industry. The expected positive trends in the market predicted one year ago did not show for TeleBilling.
The slow development in Germany caused the decision of merging TeleBilling’s two German locations to a joint location in Elmshorn near Hamburg.
In 2005 TeleBilling established a new development department. The department has streamlined our naviBilling product. naviBilling has been upgraded to version 4.0 and the product has been certified according to the newest Microsoft standards. The upgraded product has already resulted in new orders that are to be executed in 2006.
By the end of 2005 TeleBilling employs 33 persons.2004: The year started excellent by signing a contract with the second largest CATV and broadband operator in Denmark - Telia Stofa a Telia sister company - about the delivery of complete business support system for CATV. By today the largest contract in TeleBilling's history. A large project that is still running in the start of 2005.
The positive tendencies continued during 2004 and TeleBilling ended up signing a total of 4 contracts with new customers and two upgrade contracts with existing customers - Cegecom and EuroBilling.
One of the new customers - XLN Telecom - is placed in UK, which is a new market. XLN Telecom is a fixed net service provider with cheap tariffs aiming at small business customers. The other new customer MR Netservices is a German clearinghouse for IN services and Service Numbers. And finally Tetrastar is a Danish Tetra Net operator.
The result for 2004 ended up being even better than in 2003. TeleBilling expects a result of app. 7 million DKK.
The pipeline for 2005 looks promising especially in the Nordic countries and Switzerland TeleBilling experiences some interesting topics for new business.
In order to strengthen our service and make our naviBilling solution even more competitive on the Scandinavian Market TeleBilling has signed an agreement with the company Inap for delivery of Automatic Provisioning Services and Number Portability Administration for Scandinavian customers. With Inaps products we lower our development cost for Provisioning and Number Portability services and speed up the time from implementation to operation.
By the end of 2004 TeleBilling has a competent and professional team of 35 employees. In addition hereto 5 external consultants have been working for TeleBilling during 2004. 2003: The year started slow and additional cost cuts were necessary because of a mistaken expansion strategy and too high personal costs. 16 employees were dismissed and the Project Office in Copenhagen was closed. In despite TeleBilling ended up signing 7 contracts of which 5 were new customers and 3 upgrade contracts with existing customers.
One of the deals was a Billing Verification Solution to 2 mobile operators in Lebanon where TeleBilling was subcontractor for at Danish/Swedish main contractor. This was both a new way of using naviBilling as well as Lebanon was a new geography. Even though this project has been very profitable TeleBillling does not plan similar projects in this region.
May 1 Jesper Schack takes over the position as CEO after Niels Duedahl who has searched for new challenges outside TeleBilling A/S.
The optimism in the Telco industry was slowly coming back during the last half of the year. And 2003 ended up being the turn of the negative curve for TeleBilling.
October 31 the French company was closed.
TeleBilling sold its 50% shares in EuroBilling by December 1.
By the end of 2003 TeleBilling has a competent and professional team of 32 employees. 2002: TeleBilling collaborates with the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to expand business into new markets such as Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy and Greece.
Three new contracts have been signed this year, for example Cegecom, the largest alternative operator in Luxembourg offering a wide range of products within fixed line and IP, Internordia - customer since 2000 - buys their own solution that is capable of new functionalities in naviBilling and Heli Net, a German network consisting of six city carriers from the Hamm-region in Nordrein Westfallen in Germany. Heli Net offers products in the range of: Wire line, IP and wireless.
The second quarter was a disaster without winning a single contract. Especially on the French market the lack of new business was very expensive because of some very high personal costs. Also the German and the Nordic market were hit by the recession in the telco industry and very hot deals were postponed due to the insecure market situation. Some dramatic cost reductions were necessary in order to reduce the loss for 2002. By the end of August 20 employees were dismissed.
As of 31/12-2002, total number of employees is 47.
2001: TeleBilling expaned further into France aiming at covering Southern europe, Hence the subsidiary, TeleBilling France SAS was established and an office in Paris was opened.
In order to increase sales and gain additional market share, TeleBilling established a sales office in Hamburg covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH)

2000: TeleBilling enters the Norwegian market by entering into a facility management contract with Tele Danmark Internordia (former ElTele Øst), the largest alternative carrier in Norway focusing on business-to-business market. Moreover TeleBilling achieves its first Austrian customer LIWEST, the second largest cable TV operator and pioneer within communication technology in Austria.
In order to be a 100% turnkey provider, TeleBilling establishes TeleBilling Systems A/S, the purpose of which is to deliver special critical mission computers and infrastructure in connection with TeleBilling's billing platform.
Furthermore a project office is opened in Copenhagen with the purpose of promoting the possibility of recruiting professional employees.

1999 Telebilling's activities in Germany are growing rapidly with new customers and consequently TeleBilling establishes its own project office in Hanover with the main focus on system integration and market support - "TeleBilling Deutschland GmbH".
By the end of 1999, TeleBilling and the German Regional Carrier, VSE NET GmbH, started a new billing centre "EuroBilling" in Saabrücken, on a fifty-fifty basis. the centre serves telephone companies in the Southwest of Germany with outsourcing/ASP facilities.

1998 TeleBilling begins growing and more employees are joining TeleBilling. The second customer in Germany is won.
